From the Mountains to the Sea

The landscapes I have explored––both near and far from home––as well as the places I dream of traveling to constantly inspire me to paint. I feel a deep connection to both time and place when creating a landscape.

I am self-taught, and I feel that my style of painting is continually evolving, as I learn what techniques work with the scene I am hoping to portray. My goals for the future include doing more plein-air painting and further developing my understanding of color theory and the role of light and shadow in painting.

Some of these paintings are available as prints on my Etsy shop, which can be viewed HERE.
